Fourth of July in Bergen County

For those of you who are not venturing down the shore or out of town this holiday weekend, here is our Bergen County Guide to celebrating Fourth of July.

Allendale: Fourth of July festivities kick off at 7:30 pm in Crestwood Park.

East Rutherford: Have Friday off and feel like celebrating early? Head down to the State Fair Meadowlands in East Rutherford for various events and fireworks on both July 3rd and July 4th.

Hackensack: To keep the whole family busy before the barbecue's head down to Forschini Park in Hackensack for rides, music, food vendors and even features beginning at 9:15 p.m.

Oradell: Check out Oradell's Fourth of July parade bright and early at 9 a.m. The parade starts on Oradell Avenue. 


Tenafly: Get into the spirit of the holiday with fireworks in the evening of July 2nd behind Tenafly High School. On July 4th itself a celebration will be held from 10 a.m until 3 p.m.

Ridgewood: Ridgewood is hosting their annual Fourth of July parade starting at 10 a.m. Fireworks are preceded by evening entertainment at 6:30p.m at Veterans Field, tickets are required for Fireworks display.

Paramus: Celebrate the end of a holiday weekend with more Fireworks on July 5th at Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex. Gates for the event open at 6:30p.m.

Fair Lawn: Fair Lawn will host an early bird celebration on July 1st at Memorial Park, which is located between Berdan Avenue and 1st Street.
