Bergen County Events: Weekend of June 27th

Not headed out of town for the weekend? Don't worry, here is a list of exciting local events that you won't want to miss!

Bergen County Irish Festival 5k: Located at Overpeck County Park on Saturday, June 27th this run features gorgeous views of the New York City skyline. The Festival itself will feature Irish entertainment, food and more.  





Fishing Derby: Located at The Theielke Arboretum at 460 Dorms Avenue in Glen Rock on Saturday, June 27th. The event is open to children ages 5-13 and costs only $10. Click here to register.



Sunday Doubles: Enjoy the warm weather with some exercise at Van Saun Tennis Center in Paramus.  Occurs at 4:00pm every Sunday and sign ups are on a week to week basis.


Zen in the Zone Yoga Event: This huge yoga event will take place at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, June 28th at 9:00am, and will feature a guest appearance by the Giants' own Steve Weatherford. Plus the first 500 individuals to arrive will receive Free Yoga Bags!

Fort Lee Farmer's Market: Attend opening weekend for the Farmer's Market and gather some fresh produce for a healthy Sunday dinner. The market will be open every Sunday from the 28th through November 2nd during the hours of 8am through 2pm.


The Shakespeare Theater of NJ: Recover from a jam packed weekend outside by attending a performance of Romeo & Juliet at Oradell Public Library at 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 30th.




Stand up Paddle Yoga: Practicing while floating on a paddle board brings a new challenge and perspective to classic yoga. Participate in this event at Graydon Pool in Ridgewood on Tuesday, June 20th at 9:15am.
