Bergen County Summer Bucket List

Bergen County News and Happenings Own Summer Bucket List:

Inspired by Bergen Mama's 20 Amazing Things to Do This Summer in New Jersey, we created our own short list of things to do before Labor Day hits.

Find Your Soul: With Summer upon us everyone is looking to get fit and look beach ready. The SoulCycle/ Flywheel craze is understandable, as each class includes high energy songs, fast tempo rides and a killer calorie burn, all under 45 minutes! With new locations close to Bergen County, these classes are a perfect, quick workout to achieve that summer body. Many studios in the area are also replicating these brand's energetic workouts, including One Love Bike + Barre in Ridgewood, Ride Revolution in Northvale, and SWEAT Spin studios in both Ramsey and Franklin Lakes. Get ready to feel the burn!

Feed Your Inner Foodie: Why settle for one restaurant when you can have them all? Food tours are the perfect solution to your indecisiveness, and are a great way to get out and about while dining in the summer. Jersey Girls offers different culinary tours based on location. As well,  a little outside Bergen County, but well worth the trip, Smorgasburg is an extremely popular food festival, that features some of New York's finest foods with over 100 different vendors each weekend.

Free Fun for All: Sometimes all these fun summer excursions can rack up quite a bill, but luckily there are many fun events that come sans a price tag. Many Bergen County towns host Free Outdoor Movie Events, some like Ridgewood and Westwood host them all summer long! As well, one of the most anticipated summer events is the Central Park Concert Series, which hosts many concerts for free. Also, a  list of free NYC museums, and a list of museums in Bergen County, many of which are free or have a low cost entry fee!

Bergen County News & Happenings is committed to keeping residents up to date on things to do, places to be, local news and events. It is sponsored by New Jersey Foot and Ankle Center with Dr. Dan Margolin, Dr. Maryellen Brucato and Dr. Daniel Hennessy.
