Celebrating Father's Day in Bergen County

This Sunday, 6/21, not only marks only the first official day of Summer, but also Father's Day. Here are some creative and fun ideas to celebrate the special day in Bergen County, listed in bergencounty.com's article Father's Day Fun for Bergen County Dads:

Tee Time: Since it is also the first day of summer, celebrate with Dad outside at Paramus' Mini-Golf course. Or have him take his newly gifted golf clubs for a test run at some of these local luxurious golf courses. And in case of rain you can take it indoors at Greenhouse Golf.

Off to the Races: Continue celebrating Bergen County's own American Pharaoh's Triple Crown win by checking out the Big M Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford on Friday or Saturday Night. Start the Father's Day celebration early with the excitement and thrill of horse racing.

Take a Hike: Enjoy the great outdoors with the whole family at some of these top-voted Nature Centers and Hiking Spots in the area.

Wings and Wheels Expo: Every Father's Day weekend the Aviation Hall of Fame in New Jersey features vintage airplanes, cars and unique military aircrafts and vehicles. You can even surprise Dad with a ride on a vintage airplane.

Let's Play Ball: Instead of trekking to New York City and fighting crowds to see a professional baseball game, you can stay local and check out the Hackensack Troast's game at Foschini Park, free of charge! Plus enjoy all the good food that perfectly accompanies America's favorite pastime.
